Xer and his compatriot of sorts talking about stuff, likely why they are currently sitting outside in an alley (as indicated by clichéed fire in metal barrel and stack of newspapers). A scene from a story I had once planned to draw, and may try to draw if I think it's still any good, and if I can remember how to draw Xer's and his friend's faces.
I drew it a while ago, and my friend Melissa coloured it for me with coloured pencils since I like her raw colouring style, as opposed to mine.
I like it but I have a few critisizms. The person laying down is perfect but the one with the green cloak needs a little work. His head is a little too big and his hand is in an akward position. Also he is not looking at the person laying down, if they are talking then they would more than likley have eye contact.
Other than that nice job. The shading is great and again there are no flaws with the person laying down.
8/10 overall
I have a hard time drawing faces and hands. I agree that the head and the hand are messed up, and this follows the pattern of my issues with drawing faces and hands. Although with the lack of eye contact, I'd argue that point on character, but since you don't know his character, I understand your point. Thanks again
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.
Your Darkest Dreams is a monthly feature devoted to sharing dark photography works from DeviantArt. Often misunderstood as "morbid" or "depressing", Your Darkest Dreams seeks to show this kind of photography in a new way: by showcasing art that is thought provoking, but at the same time unabashedly displays the beauty in darkness.
A former volunteer with the Artist Relations team, `kuschelirmel has always been a wonderful role model within the community.
With a vibrant and eclectic gallery that would make anyone proud, her dedication to providing informative and easy to follow tutorials, journal CSS, and inspirational stock is clearly long overdue for recognition.
